US synthetic panels are backtested against published Pew Research benchmarks — topline and by segment. Each row is our panel's result against Pew's published value.
Method: Claude Sonnet 5 · US backtest panel matched to Pew age & household-income composition · single-answer readout, unweighted · n = 52 to 104 depending on the study · respondents synthetic. Same questions, same options, composition matched. Benchmarks (Pew Research Center): cash & carry-cash (fielded May 26 – Jun 1, 2026); AI attitudes (fielded Jun 22 – 28, 2026). These are dated backtest snapshots; newer methods (option-order rotation, post-draw weighting, distribution readout) are not reflected here.
